NSL | Parking Attendant
2018 - 2019
During my time as a parking attendant for NSL my responsibilities included following set routes of streets for parking enforcement and also providing customer service to the public, this involved helping customers out with queries related to parking and giving directions to anyone who needs it - this was especially common during July and August during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

BSc (Hons) Computer Games Application Development
At Abertay University I have been able to specialize in programming rather than my general game development course at college, the range of programming includes object orientated programming, working with frameworks and libraries like SFML and Box2D, data structures and algorithms, graphics programming, networking and artificial intelligence - my current main project is creating a game under NDA in a team for a game company client, a full list of my modules can be found here

At Edinburgh College I had a variety of game development classes ranging from programming, game design theory, level design and user interface design.
Volunteering
March 2022
Games Talks Live
During March 2022 I volunteered at Games Talks Live for Colin Macdonald, this was a three day long event in Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow, my tasks involved checking in all guests and speakers and directing them where to go, raffling tickets and answering any queries along with helping out with the catering to help the event run smoothly.

Abertay Games Development Society
From 2020-2021 I was the Secretary of the society and my primary task was to record the minutes of every meeting including our annual general meeting where the next committee was elected, my secondary task was to run all of our social media pages and discord as well as any general assistance in organizing events including our two game jams, social nights and hosting industry speakers from companies including Ubisoft, Rebellion, TT Games, Rare & more.
From 2021-Present I have the honour of serving as the President of the society, this role includes organising all of our events and that includes social events such as our pub quiz at the start of the year, three game jams, workshops to teach some basic unity and hosting multiple guest speakers including Rami Ismail, speakers from Ninja Kiwi, Naughty Dog, Scottish Games Network & more, I was also able to organise a multi-speaker Q&A panel with Rockstar Games.
